I specialize in large scale high-end residential architecture, following
projects through complete interior design, finishing, and custom furnishings. A
recent project in New York involved the refinishing of an extensive collection
of antiques. It also involved all architectural finishes, which included an
intricately detailed paneled library, forty mahogany doors, and all cabinetry.
From design through the project's completion, I relied on Alexis Kane's
expertise. She has a thorough knowledge of all wood species and their appropriate
finishes with respect to historical architectural styles in matters of detailing
and furniture. Alexis' exceptional ability to work with my clients, contractors,
and associates easily and effectively as well as her substantial technical
knowledge and expertise is what makes her, in my estimation, one of the few
people in the country to handle these types of high-end projects.
